WordUp Scholarship
WordUp, the revolutionary English learning app with millions of users worldwide, is committed to removing language barriers and empowering minds. The WordUp Scholarship was created to support individuals who see English not just as a skill but as a superpower, opening doors to knowledge, opportunity, and impact. This scholarship offers driven students the chance to elevate their education at the London School of Innovation and, in turn, amplify their voice on the global stage.
- The scholarship will pay £2,500 towards your tuition fees for a master's degree.
- There are no restrictions based on nationality, country of residence, or first language.
- Applications are assessed on merit, purpose, and potential. There is no cap on the number of scholarships awarded.
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must meet all of the following conditions:
- An unconditional offer for a master's programme from the London School of Innovation (full-time or part-time).
- A demonstrated passion for language, communication, or cross-cultural engagement.
- An existing Pro account in WordUp (minimum 3 months age) with proven commitment to learning and personal development.

Personal
statement
When applying for a postgraduate programme at LSI, you can select this scholarship and upload a personal statement (up to 1,000 words) to make your case, demonstrate how you qualify for this scholarship and why you should be selected.
Virtual
interview
If offered a place at LSI, and shortlisted based on your personal statement, you will be invited for a video call (typically 20-30 minutes). This is your opportunity to bring your application to life, showcase your motivation, and explain how you meet the scholarship criteria.
Application
decision
If successful at the interview stage, your application will be sent to the scholarship panel to review against other shortlisted applicants and to and make a decision. You will be notified about the outcome via email.
Deadline
Applications are open throughout the year with no specific deadline. All applications are reviewed based on their merit. There is no limit to the number of scholarships available.
