Dr Ramy Hammady
Adjunct Professor
About
Dr Ramy Hammady, Adjunct Associate Professor at the London School of Innovation, specialises in the design and application of immersive technologies. His work combines augmented, virtual and extended reality with user research, interaction design and digital storytelling. This background is particularly relevant to LSI’s emphasis on developing technology around identifiable human and organisational needs, rather than treating innovation as an end in itself.
Ramy is Programme Lead for the MA/MSc Design Innovation Technology and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Southampton, as well as an External Examiner at Liverpool John Moores University. As Founder and CEO of Immerse House, he has led cross-functional teams delivering virtual reconstructions, interactive museum experiences and immersive training solutions. He has also worked with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, producing XR guidance and training resources and helping establish a regional knowledge community. A Microsoft Most Valuable Professional and recognised UK Global Talent in human–computer interaction, he holds a PhD focused on augmented and mixed reality.
