Hamed Salimi is External Member of the Quality, Compliance, and Audit Committee at the London School of Innovation. He strengthens the committee’s scrutiny of how the School is run: the quality of management information, the clarity of risk and control reporting, and whether compliance requirements are being evidenced properly. Hamed’s career is built around corporate finance, financial reporting and senior finance leadership. He has held corporate finance roles at BAT and previously served as CFO (and deputy to CFO) in multinational and industrial settings, including Huawei Technologies and Faiveley Transport. Earlier in his career, he worked in audit and systems design at Baker Tilly UAE, then progressed through chief accountant roles. He holds a master’s in International Accounting & Finance from Aston University and is ACCA part-qualified.
