Liz Duff
Academic Board & External Advisor
About
Liz Duff is an External Advisor of the Academic Board at the London School of Innovation. In this capacity, she brings independent judgement to the Board’s core work—upholding academic standards, strengthening the quality of learning and assessment, and ensuring that new programmes and approaches are scrutinised as thoroughly as they are conceived. She supports the Board’s oversight by testing assumptions, flagging academic risk early, and helping keep decisions clear, well-governed, and firmly centred on students’ experience and progression. Liz offers longstanding leadership in higher education and governance. A retired Head of Westminster Law School, she understands what it takes to protect academic credibility while responding to change. She is also a trustee of the Quintin Hogg Trust, bringing a steady sense of stewardship and accountability. With an MSc in Research Methods and Statistics, she adds an evidence-led perspective that aligns with LSI’s ambition to innovate responsibly in an AI-shaped world.
