Somayeh Aghnia
Co-Founder & Chair
About
Somayeh Aghnia is Co-Founder and Chair of the board of governors at the London School of Innovation, working at the frontier where technology, education, and business meet. Her central focus is helping institutions respond to AI as more than a tool: a force that reshapes culture, legitimacy, and what society values. She brings a human-centred, systems view, grounded in anthropology and philosophy, to the practical realities of education, leadership, regulation, and adoption. Over the past two decades, Somayeh has worked at the edge of digital transformation and learning innovation at scale, co-founding Geeks Ltd and WordUp and seeing first-hand why some change programmes thrive while others stall. Today, she channels that experience into LSI’s mission. She is a Fellow of BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT), and a regular public speaker on futures of higher education, futures of work and futures of society with AI.
