Why postgraduate?
Redefined career identity
A postgraduate degree or diploma is a strategic reinvention of your professional standing. Whether you are pivoting careers or deepening expertise, it gives you the credibility and signals to employers and peers that you are serious about mastering your craft and prepared to lead in uncertain times.
Sharpened strategic thinking
Big decisions are rarely black and white. They are complex, messy and political. A postgraduate degree sharpens your ability to think critically, balance competing interests and navigate ambiguity. These are the traits of visionary leaders and impactful innovators.
Elevated earning and influence
The return on investment is not just financial, though that matters. A postgraduate degree or diploma also gives you greater influence in the boardroom, more autonomy in your role and a louder voice in strategic decisions. You become harder to ignore and easier to promote.

Yes. All LSI programmes are delivered through Flexible Online Learning and are designed to help students balance their studies with professional and personal commitments. You can study full-time over 12 months or part-time over 24 months, depending on the time you are able to devote to your programme.
The online format gives you flexibility in when and where you study, making it particularly suitable for working professionals. However, you will still need to engage consistently with the course content, complete assessments and activities, and meet the required academic deadlines.
Before choosing your study pattern, you should consider the demands of your role and the time you can realistically commit to studying each week. Our Student Success Team can provide guidance if you have concerns about managing work and study. Please contact the team at support@lsi.ac.uk for support.
Your course structure and learning materials, including information on your core and optional modules, will be available through the MyLSI and VLE areas of the Automated Governance System (AGS). You will be able to view your module content, key dates, learning activities, and assessment information in one place.
Why study at LSI?
Because you want to become an AI-native leader.
Specialist in
tech & innovation
LSI’s focus on digital technology, innovation and entrepreneurship connects what you study with the challenges of leading change.
Explore technology alongside the commercial and organisational decisions that determine its value.
AI-enhanced
learning
LSI’s award-winning AI platform acts as a 24/7 learning companion, helping you work through material, test your understanding, receive formative feedback, and identify gaps earlier.
The system provides multimedia explanations, interactive tasks, formative checks, and feedback on your work, while academic staff remain responsible for judgement, standards, and support.
Regular
one-to-one support
Use regular one-to-one academic conversations to question ideas, discuss difficult material and get guidance on your progress.
Alongside subject support, your personal academic tutor helps you navigate the demands of postgraduate study.
A network of
ambitious peers
You'll study alongside ambitious, curious people. Those relationships rarely end at graduation.
Your peers and the wider LSI alumni network become collaborators, sounding boards, and the contacts who open doors long after you've finished.
Learn smarter with AI
Work through course material with AI-supported explanations and practice, then deepen your understanding through discussion and guidance from academic staff.
Virtual
private tutor
This isn’t a chatbot. It’s a tutor that guides you through hands-on learning, at your pace. Read, watch or listen anytime, on your phone during a commute or workout, or on your laptop at 2am before a deadline.
Through text, audio, visual feedback, formative questions, and assignment critique, the tutor helps you keep moving between scheduled sessions with academic staff.
Master
the theory with AI
Every lesson adjusts to your pace and what you already know, so you're never stuck on the obvious or lost in the difficult.
Most subjects don't run in a straight line. Our Interactive Knowledge Graph maps how concepts connect and build on each other, then tracks what you've mastered and what still needs work, so nothing important slips through the cracks.
Instant feedback
for assignments
Get useful feedback the moment you submit, instead of waiting days to find out where you went wrong, then act on it while the work is still fresh in your mind.
This doesn't replace your tutors or academic judgement. Detailed feedback from faculty can be requested right after AI feedback. What it adds is momentum: you keep moving forward instead of stalling between submission and review.
Role-play
with AI
Rehearse the high-stakes moments before they're real. In AI-driven role-play, you make decisions in lifelike professional scenarios and see how they play out, so you build confidence where it's safe to get things wrong.
Judgement comes from practice, not theory alone. You might lead a tense project review, work through an ethical AI dilemma, negotiate a technical trade-off, or troubleshoot a system failure against the clock, each scenario repeatable and tied to what you're learning.
