About
Dr Milyan Hills is Adjunct Associate Professor at the London School of Innovation. He brings a behavioural-science and human-factors lens to the School’s work at the boundary of technology and society—particularly where AI adoption depends less on capability and more on trust, decision-making, and culture. Milyan has worked across higher education, government, and industry in roles that demand judgement under pressure. He is a Senior Lecturer at Aston Business School and has held leadership and specialist posts spanning user research, strategic communications, organisational resilience and risk. His experience includes advisory work linked to UK national security and public institutions, as well as senior consulting in data and digital transformation within an AI company and major organisations. He holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of St Andrews.
